Walking in the Spirit was Emphasized on Sunday Service in Nigeria

Nigeria (Emmanuel) Church taught and emphasized walking in the Spirit of God. Over 50 were in attendance of the Sunday service. It was a very graceful experience because of the powerful time of worship, praises and the word that gave light to the congregation.

had an awesome service in church. We started the service by 9:30qm and ended with a workers meeting which started by 11:50am and ended by 1pm.

The praises and worship was led by the group hoping to become part of Jubilee world one day. The sermon was preached by brother Dolapo Lawal. He taught about Walking in the spirit, with the key texts coming from Galatians 5:22-23, John 3:16-17, Matthew 10: 35-38. In his explanation, he expounded that, "we must learn to separate an act from acting, making sure that we forgive as it is a character of God and His sons". "Jesus forgave people that persecuted Him and asked God to forgive them showing the best example of a man with God's kind of heart".

He made many references of scriptures about walking in the spirit (Romans 1:9, 1 Corinthians 2:1-2, 1 Cor 1:2, Ephesians 5:18-21,Galatians 3:13-14, Romans 8:1-2, 2 Corinthians 5:16).

This explanation cut deep into the heart of the Church leading to deeper in prayer and repentance before God.
