Faith by Hearing the Word of God, Last Sunday Service of November, 2018

What an awesome Sunday morning it was in Lagos. Good temperature and amazing beautiful skies. Just as interesting the weather was so was the service. It was a great day for Emmanuel Church being in the presence of God in the last Sunday of the month of November.

It was great to know and understand that the faith of Christians comes by hearing, and hearing only comes by the Word of God. The preacher spoke about Faith and the Word. He said that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. With reference scriptures coming from 2 Corinthians 3-4, Jeremiah 4:4, Hebrew 1:14, saying the angels are ministering spirit for the saints not to the saints.

The teaching reflection by one of the member was that, "the word must richly dwell in us so as to react with Faith and in faith to what we hear so as what we hear can become things we do". I thank God I came today, it was not in vain because I have heard a very special message good for my spirit, he concluded.
