53 Attended Nigeria Mid-week Service, Learnt about Prayers.

On Wednesday, 13th of June, 2018, Emmanuel Church Lagos had her Wednesday mid-week Service that started with prayers by 5pm with an intercession for the church led by Joseph and after wards we had the praise and worship session led by the Jubilee till 6pm.

The message entitled "Prayers" was delivered by Brother Dolapo Lawal who emphasized that God doesn't just want things from us, He wants to use those things to bless and multiply us. God is not a magician and neither did He say there won't be storms but rather He'll be with us in the storms to help us cruise over. The scriptures used are John 6, 1 kings 18:42-46,1 kings 17:10-18, 2 kings 4:1-5 to emphasize that Jesus didn't just pray to multiply bread but he used something, God didn't just create heaven and earth, he used the Word. God will always use what we have at our disposal for this reason we need to be people that work earnestly.

He therefore encouraged the Church not to be lazy people, they should use the gifts and talents God has given them. When God sees our effort and finds that it's in the right path and worthy, he blesses us, makes us more fruitful and prosperous.
